The installation of the cargo bike stations marks the final milestone in the offer of new – environmentally friendly – services available to logistics operators in the historic center of Lucca.
In recent days, in fact, the guidelines for the use of the stations have been approved with the decision n. 220/23-02-2021.

The new stations – operational shortly – will allow logistic operators to carry out the “last mile” less bulky deliveries, with zero-emission vehicles.
The service is carried out through a free shared rental system of tricycles equipped with a box by the holders of the “Lucca Mobility Pass” equipped with RFID Tag for access to the RTZ.
The service is accessible from the 3 stations which are located in:
- piazzale Verdi
- piazza S. Maria
- via dei Bacchettoni
